How it works |
Completing your continuing education requirements is an easy three
step process:
- Select the license(s) you have
- Order the unlimited course(s)
- Complete the course(s) on the site
1. Select the course(s) you would like to
take
Begin by clicking on the "Sign up" Button. It is located on left hand
side of the "Home" page. Then select the Insurance Licensees you want
CE hours for. Enter the discount course (if you have any). Then Click
on "Continue"
2. Order the course(s)
Enter your personal information and Credit Card information, accept
the enrollment agreement and then click "Process Now".
3. Complete the course(s) on the site
After you login to your "PLT CE DESKTOP" page. The "Returning Studetns" is located on the left of the "Home Page". Here you will be
able to read the courses online, take exams and download the course
material for each course. To View online matereial
you will need Flash player and to read the downloaded material you
will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. The downloaded course material will
be available to view for as long as you leave the file on your computer
and can later be used as reference material. You do not need to be
on-line to view the course material. If you do not have a copy of
Adobe Acrobat Reader you can download it for free by
click here to download a free copy.
After completing the course material you have to take the Exam. In
order to pass the exam you must answer at least 70% of the questions
correctly. You may take up to 3 months to complete the course material
and exam. Once you are
satisfied with your answers you may submit it for grading. You will
be notified of your status, pass or fail, immediately. You may retake the exam at any time.
Important: The date of course completion is based upon that
date you successfully (answer at least 70% of the questions correctly)
complete and submit the final exam.
Once you have passed the exam your certificate of completion is available
for printing. Click on the link to print your certificate.
